IF: Racing

Crawling under the deadline here for this week's Illustration Friday.  The theme was racing and I wanted to capture that moment when you're sprinting down the line and you feel like your calves are going to split open from the exertion and you know you're going to use up every last bit of energy in you.  Various inspirations for this piece were the Triplets of Belleville, the collective noun "a cry of hounds", and this artist.
