I've found myself outside and drawing more as the Berkeley weather suddenly turned sunny and warm this week. Memorial Glade was nearly packed in the fifteen minutes before my 1pm class. I settled down beneath some shade to draw this sketch of the library and relaxing students.
And I saw these two out of the corner of my eye a few evenings ago. Babysitter and charge, sister and sister, or mother and daughter, they were some kind of couple feasting on ice cream.
